Once again, I’m borrowing Vicki’s idea (Thank you, Vicki!) for an end of year post. The idea is to share the first line (or two) of the first blog post of each month and a favorite photo from that month’s posts. The words and photos are most likely not related.
This One Little Word started stealing into my heart in early December when we lit the first candle – the candle of Hope – on the Advent wreath and when I set out this year’s lovely amaryllis bulbs.
Thank you for all your comments on yesterday’s post … I replied to many of you about how much I love winter’s bare branches and the shadows they cast.
It felt good to flip the page on my calendar this morning to see which photo would grace my desk for the next 31 days. Nothing like two of my favorite guys in coordinating plaid to make me smile!
Hello April. Hello to a new week, a new month and another fresh start.
Hello friends … and Hello May! I so appreciated all the wonderful comments y’all shared on my last post. Thank you! I’m approaching this new month with a “saving my life” mindset and these TGIF posts are one of my favorite ways to frame a list.
It feels good to be sitting back at my favorite spot at the kitchen counter on a Monday afternoon, looking back at photos from the weekend.
Hello July! Hello new photo of Charlie … his mama tells me that’s his “ROAR!!!” face ♥ … and a brand new six-month calendar.
Hello friends and Happy Thursday. I’m delighted to be joining in with Carole and crew today to celebrate Friday Eve 😉 Missing my Wednesday post gave me room for this one and I’m reminded how much fun it can be to switch things up!
I guessed way back on July 9 when I shared my June collage that July was going to tell a much different story.
Hello, friends … yes, I’m back home … and slowly adjusting to “real life” again! Coming back to a weekend helped a lot.
Y’all, I was beyond excited to turn over the calendar page this morning to see what little boy delights awaited.
Hello friends! I hope y’all enjoyed a lovely long weekend, maybe with delicious food and good company and then time to pause and give December a warm welcome (thankfully without snow)?
What a year! and I’ll be back again tomorrow with one last post, looking back at 2019 through a slightly different lens. Happy Monday, y’all!
