Sunday afternoon – in addition to coloring (and showing off my spring pedicure) – we took finished photos of Quick Sand.
I’m not sure holding a toddler really shows off the sweater details, but this is the fourth time I’ve knit the pattern. Y’all know what it looks like, right?
My gauge was a little tighter than what the pattern called for, so I knit the next up size. It worked perfectly. I followed Heidi’s excellent instructions as written except for the hems. On the body, I worked two rows of garter before binding off; and on the sleeves, I went down a needle size to work those two rows of garter and bind off. I’m really happy with how it turned out! (project on Ravelry here)
…and yay for Friday – have a wonderful weekend!
