With a nod to Juliann, who introduced this Tuesday topic and often fed our blog readers with tiny moments spent with her grandson – thank you, friend!
My mom and I spent a few hours with our two favorite little boys (and their parents) on Sunday afternoon. We timed the visit so the boys were just finishing their naps when we arrived. The afternoon was then full of snacks, drinks, toys, puzzles, potty breaks, trips upstairs for more toys and puzzles. and coloring.
This is a 10 foot long coloring roll (maybe this one?) and the boys actually colored for about 30 minutes. (so did Katie. so did I – except when I was taking photos and video 😊).
I love so much about this photo – those two light brown heads, so focused. how they’re sitting on the paper. playing together. Charlie showing Sam. Sam just wanting to do whatever his brother is doing. (my pretty spring pedicure 😉.)
But this moment, five minutes later, really steals my heart.
Happy Tuesday!
Sounds like a really awesome afternoon.
So much fun!!! The boys are getting so big!!! You must love having a chance to spend the afternoon with them. (And what a cool color roll.) XO
Those boys are something special! I love that you all colored, but most especially how they are together! How perfect! (And, I love the polish color…what is it?)
Good times! Thanks for sharing
What a wonderful visit with your mom and those two sweet boys! My experience is pretty much limited to my two boys, but if they can do anything for 30 minutes, together and without fighting, that is a HUGE moment and not tiny at all! 🙂
How sweet! The giant color roll is a great idea!
What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! That coloring roll looks like it's loads of fun. Love your spring pedicure, I'm waiting for the weather to warm up so I can go sockless!
Oh, I love that scroll!! I had to laugh at "Sam just wanting to do whatever his brother is doing." Replace Sam with Gin and 'tis the same over here. It's fascinating to watch…
They are growing so quickly! The scroll is a brilliant idea to keep them focused and that face! SO sweet and happy!
Maybe a tiny moment from your Sunday afternoon but filled with so much sweetness and I'm sure lots of fun! I love your pretty spring pedicure!
the little toddler I babysit would love that (when she focuses..). My kids loved to color and draw as soon as they could hold a crayon, I loved the quiet activity.
What a nice afternoon! Those boys are adorable. As is the crayon caddy…we didn't have one of those!
I will have to look for that roll so Chris and Elias can color together…won't be too long now – the way time flies! So nice of you to share your Sun afternoon with us. What fun!Cheers~
Coloring with the boys was always one of my favorite activities-10' of coloring?! Love it.
