…look like the start of something new!
I was delighted to be chosen as a tester for Heidi Kirrmaier’s new pattern, Footprints in the Snow. I’m a huge fan of Heidi’s patterns and this one – a simple topdown pullover with a mock turtleneck (here’s her Instagram teaser photo) – looks super wearable. I’m using Shibui Linen + Silk Cloud (yay for stash!) and love the idea of a sweater in linen, silk and a touch of mohair for spring … you know … eventually!
We have a “winter weather advisory” happening here this morning. Icy rain is supposed to start any minute now. Seems like a great excuse to stay home and knit!
Hope you’re all staying warm!
Oh have a wonderful time Mary! (Oh how I would have loved to stay home today!)
Love the teaser! The choice of knitting over icy roads and walkways is a good call.
I was smitten as soon as I saw that photo! and re the weather, I'm almost always the first in the group to wimp out when the weather's bad … and it doesn't bother me one bit!
Ick on the weather advisory. You have a pretty good plan, though!! 🙂
Hope you're enjoying your day at home, knitting and all!
Oh, how fun! I love the colors too!
I love Heidi's designs/patterns! How fun for you!!!! 🙂 Hope you had a relaxing day with your knitting. XO
What a fun knit! We've got the ice…yuck.
Pretty, rich colors and so soft looking! We shared in your icy rain today — glad you were able to stay warm inside with that lovely project!
Those are the best kind of Mondays!
I can see why you saluted to that flag…and congrats on being selected! I will watch with interest and envy as you whip through this one. Here's to not-having-to-go-out-in-wintry-weather! How much did you get done?Cheers~
I hope your Tuesday is turning out to be warmer and safer than your Monday! The sweater looks like something you would enjoy wearing, so simply elegant.
I love how that swatch looks, can't wait to see the FO. I was glad that the weather didn't delay my flight, but the need to cancel school I think was a little premature.
