… full of poinsettias, twinkle lights and lots of holiday cheer!
Here’s a glamour shot of Bodie, blocked and ready for sleeves and a collar, which I’ve decided will wait until next week … after my mom moves, after Sara’s visit, after more holiday cheer … when just maybe I’ll have a quiet morning or two to focus!
I finally finished knitting the Through the Loops Mystery Shawl from 2016. All I had left was the picot bind-off, which took all my Friday, Saturday and early Sunday morning knitting time.
There were a lot of picots, but mostly, there was not a lot of knitting time. Saturday afternoon, my mom and I went out to lunch and then saw the Atlanta Symphony Holiday Pops show. It was fantastic!
I snuck in a quick walk to the lake yesterday morning.
Thankfully, the Christmas music program at church was rescheduled for yesterday morning – and it was wonderful!
In the afternoon, Lydia, Steve, Mother and I saw the Stage Door Players’ Christmas at Sweet Apple. Another great show! and then we enjoyed an early dinner out.
Merry Merry and here’s to a good week!
You are one busy little elf, Mary! I hope your Mom's move goes smoothly and she settles right in to her new digs. XO
Sending good thoughts and prayers for your mom’s move
Your knitting on Bodie is gorgeous! I hope your Mom's move goes well and that you enjoy this week before Christmas!
You've a lot on your plate, but will tackle it with your usual style and organizational skills. Here's to your mom's new world of living nearby and having a new house to enjoy!
That's a LOT of holiday stuff! Enjoy your week!
Merry! Merry! Enjoy it all Mary!
That was one full weekend, plus a busy week (moving in!) ahead. It'll be so nice for your mom to be settled into her own place.Yay! I was hoping that Sara would be home for the holidays!!
Wow! You are busy, but everything sounds like such fun. Concerts and shows and a daughter coming home. Hope the move for your mom goes smoothly and quickly and easily!!
I'm so glad y'all got to join us, and I hope we can go back to Novo Cucino to share a pizza soon. I realized this morning I haven't even begun to plan a menu for Christmas Eve brunch and Christmas Day-guess I'd best get on that !
What a great weekend! And, your Bodie is stunning even sans sleeves and collar!
Your weekend sounds absolutely lovely! And Bodie is gorgeous!! I think a big part of Christmas is being together with family — happy to hear Sara will be home. : )
lovely weekend and yay for your mom's new place close to you 🙂 🙂 🙂
