On any typical NaBloPoMo Sunday, I’d be reaching for just one photo … but today I have three. and since I have plenty of weekending story to tell without them, I figured I’d share them all today.
First – the tree is up and the twinkle lights are on! I had considered skipping church this morning to hang the ornaments, but this view convinced me that wasn’t necessary. I’m thinking next Sunday’s view will be full decorated, but maybe not …

Second – Shades of Sandy debuted today. It was a perfect layer this morning when the temperatures were in in the 40’s and 50’s.

Third – By the time I got home this afternoon it was warm enough for bare toes. I can’t imagine we’ll have many more flip flop days, and I intend to enjoy every one of them!

I hope your November is coming to a bright, warm close as well – xo, M.
Well, we're not having any "bare toe" days, that's for sure! I can't believe that. How nice. "Roun here: woolen socks; mittens; hats; coats, etc…Tree with just the lights is lovely…as is Shades of Sandy! Just four days to go! for NaBloPoMo!Cheers~
Your tree is beautiful with ornaments or no. And Shades of Sandy is really lovely. It's so nice to see Holly on the blog! Our November has been nearly as warm as yours!
Three wonderful photos! I like how you manage to fit everything in one day in Georgia – chill weather for knitting, bare toes, and Christmas lights!
I often like my tree best before it's "ornamented." I just LOVE the lights!!! Although we are far from flip-flop weather, our November has been surprisingly warm. Shades of Sandy is just lovely, Mary. It seems a perfect layer for these crazy late-fall days! XO
While it was a "tights free" day here, I did wear shoes to church today. We are sadly, well past sandal weather here until sometime next spring. And, your tree! Even sans ornaments, it is gorgeous! We will get ours set up tomorrow and I will work on lights a bit at a time during the week!
you take the best selfies 🙂 I have yet to get me some tights to wear in public. I do wear stretchy pants to the gym and love them very much.
We've seen the end of the flip flops for sure around here as well! Your Shades of Sandy is really pretty and I'm guessing you'll get a lot of wear from it. We've got our tree and I'm sure it will go up next weekend…and most likely stay lights only for a week. The wreath and fence are lit outside though and it's beautiful!
Flip flops are definitely in my rear view mirror and that's probably just as well since I haven't had a pedicure in ages now. Love your shot of the coffee cup with the tree lights in the background. Aren't twinkle lights just the best thing ever?!?
It's "warm" here this week, but definitely not flip-flop warm!!
Love the twinkle lights-haven't gotten out the flip flops, but did walk Sophie in a "light" jacket instead of down!
