Three miles down to the lake and back is my favorite Sunday morning workout. It’s quick (which is a good thing when I need to leave for church at 9:15) and quiet. There’s never much traffic in our neighborhood on Sundays; I have the road to myself. and my thoughts. and my ears are filled only with the steady rhythm of my feet hitting the asphalt. Good for my body, and my soul.
Happy Sunday!
My, you were a busy person this morning…a run and a blog post plus. Glad your ankle's A-OK and enjoy your day!Cheers~
I got in a run yesterday which is good because we have nothing but rain for the next few days. So tempted by that watch
This is incredibly impressive! Good for you!
That’s a perfect morning…and you said it…good for the soul.
The "rhythm of you feet hitting the asphalt" paints a picture of a quiet morning meditation.
Such a great way to start the day-even if it was a "bit" chilly this morning!
I quit running after a peroneal tendon tear, but this brings back those great "flying free" memories! My walking pace isn't quite as fast. 🙂
