Linking up with Kat today to share a quick update on what I’m knitting and reading.
Stole 2.0 is the last big project I want to finish for Alaska. I have about 40 more rows of stockinette (which will use up all of that ball and some of another) and then 6 rounds of garter stitch around the whole piece. It’s certainly doable, especially if I can resist starting Granito when my Plucky yarn arrives on Friday!
I downloaded Magpie Murders this morning and 2+ hours in, I’m enjoying it. I owe y’all an update on my bingo card, because this book will be the one I finish for a cover-all. next week. hopefully.
But now I’m going to enjoy a little knitting with a little more book (and a glass of wine) … the perfect end to a full-on Marmie day!

Oh yeah, loving the colors in your Stole. That will be fabulous in Alaska (or anywhere!!). I have the book on hold at two libraries (in Overdrive) – it must be good!! Charlie looks like he had a great time – and I'm sure you did too.

I love the colors of your stole…it will be perfect for Alaska! I am still working on my TTL mystery shawl, knitting my way through the third mosaic section. You sure have done a lot of reading! After the two books I'm currently reading, I have four more to go for a cover-all which I am hoping to have done before the end of August.

Nowhere near a cover all, but I am enjoying Magpie Murders for the bird or animal on the cover square. And it does coordinate nicely with your knitting which is of course gorgeous! Thank you for sharing the Charlie cuteness! : )
