Ten on Tuesday (ish) | A Bucket List Update.

Today, Carole’s asked us to share our summer bucket lists. Since I did that last Wednesday, I thought I’d “ish” today’s topic and share a quick update on mine.

First up, I played the 2016 Mah Jongg card at my aunt’s on Thursday afternoon.

…not well…my aunt actually won all four of the hands we played. Clearly, practice helps; she plays two to three days a week! Hopefully I’ll have another few opportunities to play soon (before I forget how all over again).

And Mother and I visited the Leesburg farmer’s market Saturday morning. In addition to a big bagful of fresh vegetables, we also brought home fresh grouper.

…which she steamed (with a yummy combination of flavored olive oils) for Saturday’s dinner.

I also purchased a popsicle mold and I’ve been doing lots of research on boozy treats. Stay tuned!

And because of course today is Tuesday, here’s a quick glimpse of Charlie. Being silly…one of his favorite things to do right now!

Hope your summer’s off to a fine start…can’t wait to see what you’ve got planned! If you’re not already playing along, click here to join the Ten on Tuesday fun (and thank you, Carole, for hosting another great week!)

  1. The fish with flavored olive oils sounds delicious! I tried some blood orange olive oil in Fort Collins and now want to use it in/on everything. Charlie is always adorable, but if he's anything like my boys, beware, because the silliness may continue to escalate!

  2. I'm glad you already got to do some of the things on your list. That fish looks great and I'm excited about the idea of boozy popsicles. I bought a mold a few years ago but didn't do anything with it – maybe you'll inspire me.

  3. I recently had grouper for the first time and it was so delicious! Boozy popsicles sound like exactly what the 4th of July may require. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

  4. How wonderful you can buy fresh fish at your farmers market. I'm a little envious. Charlie's smile is enough to melt hearts. So fun!

  5. The dinner does look yummy! And the popsicle mold is a great first step on your way to some delicious boozy popsicles – hope your research goes well. : )

  6. That grouper looks delicious. My summer list is to finish what's been started. Want to start the fall with lots of "new" things.

  7. Still working on my Bucket list…best hurry or summer will be o-v-e-r! I know at the top is ENJOY! Will be watching for the popsicle update…Cheers~
