Otherwise known as Jessie’s Girl by Elizabeth Smith. This was super fun to knit; and should’ve also been super quick, but I had gauge issues and then sizing issues and ended up reworking the pattern to make it smaller.

Now super happy with the results!
I used Juniper Moon’s Zooey – a linen/cotton blend with thick and thin bits – and the texture adds just the right amount of interest to all that garter stitch.
I think Zooey is a great yarn choice for this pattern or the cardigan option (Jessie’s Girl Cardi). It comes in tons of colors – neutrals and brights – and it’s really reasonable. For what might be the first time ever, I knit a sweater for less than I would’ve paid to buy it!
There’s been a lot of finishing going on at my kitchen counter this week. I can’t wait to share the next two pieces with you.
In the meantime – happy Friday and have a wonderful weekend!
It looks fantastic, Mary!
Very nice! I've been wondering about that yarn; happy you gave it your stamp of approval.
It looks great, especially with you smiling in the sun! Looking forward to more lovely FO!

Looks great! (I'll be interested to know if it stretches as you wear it.) I've really had my eye on this one, Mary. Super cute — and looks very "wearable." 🙂
