…which square is mine*?That square, and 11 more sets of strips (I finished all the cutting), is my big accomplishment from Sunday’s Log Cabin in a Day class.I was the only newbie in the room…which did make me feel a little better that my “progress” was so slow. And it didn’t help that I left the power cord for my sewing machine plugged into the wall in my craft room. The shop had a machine for me to use, but it didn’t have a 1/4″ foot and my attempts to eyeball one were not very good. So I stopped with the one finished square and spent the last hour oohing and ahhing over the samples on display and the fabrics… planning my next few quilts in my head!*I’d love to hear your guess – leave it in the comments and I’ll share the answer – hopefully via another finished square! – next week!Wishing you a wonderful weekend, full of “progress” and wherever that might take you.
I'm going to guess your square is the one in neutral grays and browns. You underestimate your abilities to sew without the proper equipment because all the squares look great.
I'm going to make a random guess that your square is the one with the traditional red center. They all look beautifully sewn! Log Cabin in a Day? Is that the quilting equivalent of those 6 Hour Afghan patterns? 🙂
I also think your square is the one with the neutrals and grays. They are all beautiful! I love log cabin squares, they are so versatile and beautiful.
I'm guessing the middle one also. They are all nice Mary! What fun, looks like you did a wonderful job.
I'm going with the neutral one, as well. Just seems like the colors you'd choose! (Although they are all wonderful.)
I guess the block with the grays is yours. All of the blocks look great!
I guess the block with the grays is yours. All of the blocks look great!
Hmmm-gonna go with the grays- but the bottom with the green is my second. Can't wait to see what else you create! Maybe you can teach me a couple things 😉
Tough call! All,are wonderful! I lean with the others – black/grey neutrals…I had a similar experience re: no cord for machine many, many., many moons ago. Thx for the trip down memory lane, too.Cheers~
I think yours is the one in the foreground, based on your Ravelry color paletteand what I've seen on this blog!
Now that's a tough challenge! Totally at random, I am going with the grey/neutral one that has the little pop of red in the middle. They all look very professional so I think you are a little hard on yourself :). How frustrating not to have hat you need! But I guess it gave you the chance to enjoy the eye candy …
