…my first thought when I saw carole’s prompt was “darn, I guess I shouldn’t have turned off the oscars at 9:30 to let marc watch golf.” it seemed fine at the time because my favorite part of any awards show is the red carpet and I knew there was no way I’d be awake to see the best picture award at the end.  turns out there is enough coverage on the internet that I feel like I watched the entire show…in just a half hour!

  1. The whole show was great! Did you end up watching the whole thing? I loved that Cirque did a scene from North by Northwest! And you should deffffinitely watch the Help! What do you mean?! It was a great movie! The acting was seriously wonderful! I would definitely see that over the Muppet Movie :/

  2. Love your list Mary. I don't watch the Oscars although you certainly hear enough about it – Billy is a great host (from my watching days); he can poke fun and be humble all at the same time. Love Gwyneth. Jack Russell terriers are always darn cute and Uggie is no exception!

  3. I got the first 10 minutes and last 30 minutes, and followed the red carpet on twitter. My thoughts: gwyneth paltrow rocked it, same with milla jovovich, and ellie kemper! omg, ellie kemper looked fab! I was really surprised by the lead acting winners – really thought clooney and viola davis would win. I need to see the descendants, the artist, moneyball, and I should give the help another go. I'm still "meh" on midnight in paris, though.

  4. I didn't watch on tv or Internet…did enjoy your "review" and I love the dog.I also haven't seen a single movie…I usually wait til they are on DVD or TV…guess you could say I'm not much of a movie-goer. Oh well…Cheers~
