…a lovely evening. we discussed bunnie’s pick from last month – pat conroy’s beach music. lyrical. beautiful. a big story told the right way. I think everyone loved it. and I felt better that everyone else who re-read it for this discussion had also forgotten what the big conflict was and the details about shyla’s parents. and we agreed the story was just as good the second time!
